| Ealing Chinese School - http://www.ecms.org.uk The Chinese language has the longest history and is used by the worlds largest population. In the UK, the importance of the Chinese language is reflected in its inclusion in the modern GCSE and A-Level modern foreign language examinations. More and more people are interested in learning Chinese and our job, as educationalists, continues to be a rewarding and challenging experience. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds and have different reasons for learning Chinese and we find that in an English-speaking world, the opportunity afforded to them to practice and refine their language skills are limited. |
